Healthy Hot Chocolate Recipe for the Holidays

This hot chocolate is rich, decadent, and so nourishing. It tastes indulgent but is actually super nutritious!


  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk (Canned, full fat)
  • 2 tbsps Raw Cacao Powder
  • 2 tsps Coconut Sugar
  • 1 oz Dark Chocolate (at least 70% cacao. I use 10 Hu gems )
  • 1 tbsp Collagen Powder
  • 1/4 cup Filtered Water (Boiling)


  1. Add the cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and dark chocolate to a mug. Whisk well with boiling water to combine.
  2. Add collagen peptides. Continue to whisk until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Add coconut milk to a saucepan or milk steamer/frother. Heat it over medium-low heat.
  4. Pour steamed coconut milk over the mixture to fill the rest of the mug. Sprinkle with coconut sugar and top with coconut whip or marshmallows (optional). Enjoy!


 Mint Hot Chocolate: Add peppermint extract.
